This rather exquisite culinary recipe was found by me on a website dedicated to a diverse cuisine. Such an appetizer to vodka perfectly sets off its taste qualities. Everyone who tried it expressed their verdict: the combination of products is very successful. However, the snack is rather more suitable for ladies than for men. So see for yourself. Another point: if you are confused by the presence of sherry in the list of ingredients (you will not always find it in stores), feel free to replace this drink with more common vermouth. Dry or semi-dry white vermouth is well suited. I myself prefer to take semi-sweet, but this is solely my whim.
Cut the peeled melon and seeds into beautiful and neat cubes. Peel the orange and cut into slices, and then, if desired, each slice in half. Cut the ham into small pieces. Now we take a deep dish, put a melon in it, scatter pieces of oranges on top, ham cubes on them. Cut the fleshy olives into circles and put them on top of the ham. In a separate bowl, mix warmed honey, orange juice (preferably freshly squeezed) and sherry. We tear the mint leaves with our hands and add them to the dressing. The resulting mixture is poured into our snack. Decorate with whole mint leaves. Such food from a common dish is taken with a dessert fork with long teeth (if you walk in a close friendly group).
