Royal Caviar Sandwich
Want a royal breakfast? Go for it! A month ago my parents celebrated their silver wedding anniversary. Lots of relatives and family friends were coming. As usual, the appetizers and light bites were my job. I wanted to surprise and delight my loved ones with something new that suited the occasion. I stumbled on this dish by chance, online. Afterward we all agreed it's rightly called the "Royal Sandwich."
The amount of ingredients depends on how many servings you plan to make. Just keep the cost in mind — these aren't cheap ingredients. For instance, I didn't dare "rob" the family budget for the sum needed to buy black caviar. I had to find a substitute. A seaweed-based imitation, which looks very much like black caviar, came to my rescue.

- I used a round loaf for this. Slice it to a comfortable thickness. Spread each slice with mayonnaise or butter and lay a piece of smoked salmon fillet on top. Over the salmon, place a little caviar — red and black — arranging it attractively to decorate the sandwich. The platter holding these was the first to be emptied.
