Dessert Bed with carrots

Own garden with carrots on the table! Restaurants have been serving desserts with "edible earth" for a long time. In fact, it is a crumb of chocolate cookies. The presentation always looks very original, whether it's a flower in a pot or a potato cake in a field. So I decided to make a bed with carrots.

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h 15 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare all the ingredients for making an unusual brownie with strawberries called "Carrot Bed".

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Break the bitter chocolate into small pieces, cut the butter into small cubes as well. We shift the prepared products into a ladle and heat them over low heat.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Remove the ladle from the heat, add sugar and mix. Put the ladle on the fire again and, stirring constantly, cook until the sugar completely dissolves. Let the mass cool down a little.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

After the mass cools down a little, add the chicken eggs and yolk, mix.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Then add wheat flour and cocoa sifted through a sieve, mix the chocolate mass with a spatula until smooth.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Cover the form with baking paper, spread the dough and bake the brownies in a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

We lubricate the finished brownie with jam. It is better to use currant or blueberry, since the colors of these jams are dark, which will give a great imitation of the "earth". Jams of bright color will spoil this effect. With a knife, carefully cut off the edges of the brownies to make the dessert look more neat.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Dark cookies, such as oreo, we separate, remove the cream filling with a knife and chop. Sprinkle brownies with crushed cookies.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

We heat white chocolate in a steam bath. Add the dye, mix and pour the chocolate into a narrow glass. Washed and dried strawberries are bumped on a wooden skewer and dipped into a glass with melted chocolate. Let the excess chocolate drain and spread the berries on parchment paper. Let the chocolate harden at room temperature.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Carefully install the "carrot" in the "ground". We serve the pie for tea, portioning it into small plots of land with carrots.

Such a pie is best eaten immediately after cooking, but it is well stored in the refrigerator for a couple of days before the berries begin to soften.
The idea of such a bed can be implemented a little differently. For example, bake chocolate cupcakes, sprinkle chocolate chips on top and put strawberry "carrot" on top. Thus, the dessert will turn into a portion.
