Tomato Paste Sauce for Grilled Meat (Shashlik)

    1. Stir the tomato paste together with the water in a skillet and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Take it off the heat and let it cool a bit. 2. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blitz the mixture into a smooth sauce. If you'd rather not have bits of herbs or anything else, let the sauce sit for a week to soak up the flavors, then strain it through a sieve. The flavor stays, the bits are gone. The sauce is ready. Enjoy — and good grilling weather to you!
