Of course, no one forbids you to use vodka on mountain ash as a drink. Once rowan vodka was one of the most popular drinks in Russia.
Until now, the tincture of mountain ash is loved by connoisseurs of such drinks.
For the preparation of vodka, it is recommended to use only well-ripened rowan berries, which are harvested after the onset of the first frost.
Clean dried berries are placed in a prepared container and poured with vodka. Insist such a tincture for three weeks.
The finished vodka is filtered.
Then we take the used berries and pour them with vodka again. The infusion time is also three weeks. Then the vodka is filtered and mixed with the first one.
There is also another recipe for making vodka from mountain ash.
Pure berries are brought to a boil, sugar and citric acid are added.
The resulting mixture is put in a prepared container and poured with vodka. The infusion time is reduced to a week.
