Squid and Red Caviar Salad
A great recipe for a salad that's not exactly budget-friendly, but seriously delicious! This squid and red caviar salad is a true seafood treat — a gorgeous, appetizing dish to make for someone special!

Step 1:
How do you make squid and red caviar salad? Start by getting all your ingredients ready for this festive salad.

Chop the onion and grate the carrot on the fine side of a grater.

Step 3:
Add the onion and carrot to a hot skillet and sauté until softened and evenly cooked. Transfer the sautéed vegetables to a bowl.

Step 4:
Slice the cleaned, rinsed mushrooms and fry them in a skillet with a little vegetable oil. Transfer the fried mushrooms to a plate.

Step 5:
Boil the squid in salted water for three minutes, then finely chop and set on a plate.

Chop the herbs for the salad. Grate two hard-boiled eggs on the fine side of a grater.

Put 200 g (about 1 cup) of cooked rice in a bowl.

Add mayonnaise to the rice and mix well.

Brush the inside of a ring mold with vegetable oil and set it on the lettuce leaves arranged on a plate. Fill the mold with the rice as the first layer and press it down to compact it.

Spread the fried mushrooms over the rice and top with a layer of mayonnaise.

Add the squid over the mushrooms, pressing it down with a fork to spread it evenly in the mold.

Spread the sautéed carrot and onion over the squid, again leveling it out, and add a little more mayonnaise.

Spread the grated eggs over the carrot and onion and top with the chopped herbs.

Lift off the mold and spread a layer of red caviar over the top.
