Cooking method
This Vietnamese beef soup Pho Bo is very well known to everyone who has ever visited Vietnam or, at least, ever visited a Vietnamese restaurant. Although this food seems exotic, many people like it and many people do not mind to learn its culinary recipe. Of course there are many options, I will give one of them. Try to cook and you will definitely like it.
First we need to freeze the meat, for this we will put it in the freezer for 30-40 minutes.
Without wasting time, let's do the rest of the components. Put in a saucepan, with 0.5 liters of water, onions, anise, pepper, cinnamon, add broth and fish sauce there. Bring to a boil and, stirring, cook for about 20 minutes. Then we will catch onions, cinnamon and anise. Let's leave the broth for now.
Now let's cook rice noodles, for this it needs to be placed in boiling water in a separate saucepan for a few seconds, and then drain the water, and rinse the noodles with cold water.
Now we take the meat out of the freezer and cut it into thin slices or pieces.
Now we serve the dish. We put noodles, chopped green and white onions, cinnamon, bitter pepper and herbs in plates. Pour hot broth. Then add lemon slices. So the soup is ready.
In Vietnam, they also really like to add a couple of dry shrimp to a plate so that a specific taste appears. As you can see, nothing complicated, but very tasty.
