Cooking method

Cooking time: 20 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1

    The ingredients you'll need.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2

Get out a shallow but large platter. For the first layer, spread on the potatoes grated on the coarse side of a grater. Level it, salt lightly, and pipe a lattice of mayonnaise over the top.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3

For the second layer, add the cervelat cut into small cubes — but set aside two slices of sausage for decorating. Then add the mushrooms, sliced thin. Pipe on a mayonnaise lattice.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4

Next, add the tomatoes cut into small cubes — again, set aside two slices for decorating. Pipe on a mayonnaise lattice.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5

Top with the eggs grated on the coarse side of a grater. Salt lightly and pipe on a mayonnaise lattice.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6

Then add the cheese grated on the fine side of a grater. Cover the entire surface of the salad with cheese.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7

Now for the best part — decorating! Cut "ears" and a "snout" for the piglet from the sausage. Cut one olive in half lengthwise, then crosswise into small pieces for the "eyebrows," "bangs," and "chin." Cut the second olive crosswise into two equal halves for the "eyes." Make "cheeks" and a "mouth" from the tomato. Now assemble the pig's face right on the salad. Use dots of mayonnaise for the "pupils" and "nose."

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8

Here's what the layered salad looks like inside. Shaped like a piglet, it comes out fun, festive, and — of course — delicious!

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9

    Enjoy, and happy holidays!
