Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make dough for an electric waffle iron? Prepare the products. Butter should be of high quality, corresponding to GOST. If desired, spread or margarine can be used instead of butter.
Step 2:
Take a deep bowl, break the eggs there. Using a mixer or blender, beat the eggs until bubbles appear.
Step 3:
Add sugar to the egg mass, whisk until a fluffy light mass.
Step 4:
Melt the butter in any of the ways described at the end of the recipe. Then cool it to a warm state.
Step 5:
Pour the warm melted butter into the egg-sugar mixture. Beat everything with a mixer again until smooth, about 1 minute.
Step 6:
Sift the flour. Start adding it to the dough, but not all at once, but in parts. Stir the dough thoroughly after each serving of flour so that there are no lumps left. It should have the consistency of liquid sour cream. You can stir the dough with both a spatula and a whisk. Different amounts of flour can go away — both more and less from what is stated in the recipe. Look at the consistency of the dough.
Step 7:
The dough is ready for baking waffles, it does not need to be cooled. Despite the fact that there is not too much dough, it turns out a sufficient number of thin wafers, about 15-20 pieces, depending on the size.
This dough is perfect for making waffle tubes. The electric waffle iron should be heated and poured on the surface for frying about 1 tablespoon of dough and immediately close the lid. Waffles need to be rolled up hot, after cooling they harden. But you need to fill completely cooled waffles with filling. For the filling, it is advisable to use a thick sweet cream or jam. If you add baking powder to the dough, then you can bake thick waffles in a special device.
Be sure to wash the eggs before use, as even the seemingly clean shell may contain harmful bacteria. It is best to use food detergents and a brush.
Butter can be melted in the microwave or in a water bath.
How to melt butter in the microwave?
Cut the butter into small pieces and place it in a special container. To prevent the oil from splashing when heated, cover the oil vessel with a paper towel. The oil should be melted either at the lowest power or in defrosting mode. At first, five seconds will be enough. Next, if the butter has not melted yet, set it again for 5 seconds and start the microwave. Repeat the process several times until the desired result.
How to melt butter in a water bath?
You will need two containers of different diameters. Pour water into a large one and put it on the stove. Place the smaller container on top so that it is submerged in water by about half. Put the sliced butter into it. Under the influence of boiling water, the oil will begin to melt. Stir the oil slightly to speed up the process. As soon as the pieces of oil are completely dissolved, remove the container from the stove.
It is important to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen. Then the baking will turn out to be airy and will rise well when baking.
