  • Try this original recipe from Brazilian cuisine — thrills guaranteed! My family loves this dish, and I hope you will too. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. Combine the pieces with the shrimp, pour in the soy sauce and wine, and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes. Peel and rinse the onion and peppers, and peel the tomatoes. Cut the peppers and onion into half-moons and dice the tomatoes. Rinse the soybean sprouts, breaking them up as you go so there aren't any long pieces, then pat them dry. In a hot skillet, fry the chicken and shrimp in olive oil (leave the marinade aside for now!). Once the chicken turns white, add the marinade and continue to simmer for 5 minutes. In a second skillet, sauté the onion for 2 minutes, then add the sprouts, tomatoes, and pepper. Simmer the contents of the second skillet for 5 minutes. Add the shrimp and chicken to the vegetables, stir, and season with salt, curry, pepper, and sugar to taste. Stir again and simmer for another 5 minutes. Done! Chicken with shrimp in a spiced vegetable sauce is ready to serve. It pairs perfectly with mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice. From us and Brazilian cuisine — enjoy!
