Cooking method
To make this delicious and fragrant soup, you need:
1. Soak the lentils in cold water for two hours. Then drain the water and rinse the lentils well.
2. Cut carrot, onion, garlic and bell pepper into small cubes.
3. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, remove the skin and chop as finely as the rest of the vegetables.
4. In a saucepan with preheated oil, fry the onion, carrot and pepper for 5 minutes.
5. Then add tomatoes, garlic and pour a glass of hot water. Close the lid and simmer for a couple of minutes.
6. Add lentils, salt to the vegetables, mix and add each of the seasonings separately, stirring.
7. Add hot water to the desired consistency.
8. Stir and cook for 10-15 minutes over medium heat.
To serve, sprinkle the soup with chopped parsley.
