- Rinse the lingonberries and purée them in a blender. If they're frozen, there's no need to thaw them. 2. Stir the brown sugar, starch, honey, salt, and spices into the puréed berries. 3. Cook down for 5–7 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly. The sauce is ready. Enjoy!
