Lingonberry Sauce for Meat
A tasty, spiced sauce for meat or fish — give it a try! There are plenty of sauces that go with meat, but my absolute favorite is lingonberry! It's the perfect balance of flavors: the tart, slightly bitter lingonberries against the sweetness of sugar, the savory notes of herbs, and the aroma of lemon. A magical taste!

- Grate the ginger. 2. Wash the lingonberries, combine them with the grated ginger, and set them to cook over low heat. 3. Add a blend of herbs to the lingonberries (use whatever herbs you like — I use herbes de Provence or Italian seasoning). 4. Cook the lingonberries for 10–15 minutes. Purée them in a blender, then add the lemon juice and zest. If you like, you can use orange zest and juice instead. 5. Stir the sugar into the sauce and cook down for 25 minutes, stirring constantly. The sauce is ready. Enjoy!
