Lingonberry sauce for meat

Delicious spicy sauce for meat or fish. Try to cook! There are many sauces suitable for meat, but my favorite is lingonberry! The perfect combination of flavors. Sour-bitter taste of cranberries and sweetness of sugar, spicy notes of herbs and lemon flavor. A magical taste!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 45 min

1. Grate ginger.
2. Wash the lingonberries, combine with grated ginger and cook over low heat.
3. Add a mixture of herbs to the lingonberries (you can use absolutely any herbs, I use Provencal or Italian).
4. Cook the lingonberries for 10-15 minutes. Grind in a blender and add lemon juice and zest. If desired, you can use orange zest and juice.
5. Pour sugar into the sauce and evaporate the liquid for 25 minutes, stirring constantly.

The sauce is ready. Bon appetit!
