  • Rinse the strawberries and cut them in half. Melt the butter in a small saucepan, then add the strawberries, sugar, and balsamic vinegar. Stir everything gently and heat over low heat for about 5 minutes. By then the strawberries should have turned deep red and warmed through. Place a scoop of ice cream into each prepared dish (a sundae glass or bowl), spoon the warm strawberries over the top, and drizzle with the sauce. Garnish with mint leaves.
