Adjika is a type of spicy seasoning. For the winter, I always prepare not classic adjika, but adjika from plums. It serves as an excellent addition to almost any dish. In addition, food with the addition of adjika improves the metabolism in the body and stimulates the digestive processes. In addition, it has an antiviral effect. There are a variety of culinary recipes for making adjika. Each of these seasonings has a peculiar taste and is very original. And we suggest you try one of the exotic combinations – adjika from plums.
For this seasoning, it is better to take sour plums, such as cherry plums, so that in the end the adjika does not turn out too sweet. Chop the plums, garlic and pepper. Then add sugar, tomato paste and salt everything. Cook the mixture for 20 minutes, stirring constantly. After that, the mass is decomposed into pre-prepared sterilized jars and rolled up. Adjika from plums turns sour-sweet-spicy.
Adjika as an ideal snack for meat dishes. In winter, this snack is always useful.
