Cooking method
- One popular Italian recipe is cherry tomato salad with shrimp. It's very low in calories yet loaded with nutrients. My kids always happily eat this salad, and it's an Italian dish you won't be embarrassed to serve guests. I also recommend it for fasting days. If you use ready-to-eat shrimp, the salad comes together in just minutes. Boil frozen shrimp in salted water for a few minutes, then cool and peel them. Rinse the cherry tomatoes in cold water and cut them in half. Rinse the basil leaves under running water, pat them dry with a paper towel, and slice them into thin ribbons. Combine all the salad ingredients, season with salt and ground black pepper, dress with olive oil, and toss again. The cherry tomato salad with shrimp is ready — mound it on plates. Bon appétit!
