Step-by-step cooking
Have you ever found yourself in a desperate situation - you are calmly watching TV, and suddenly the doorbell rings. The guests have come. And you don't have any ready-made food in your refrigerator. Treat your guests to cocktails and run to the kitchen. In the meantime, I'll tell you a recipe for a quick and easy salad. Sometimes this salad is also called "Eight layers".
We choose a transparent salad bowl so that its contents can be seen as if in a section. Finely chop the lettuce leaves and lay them in the first layer. A little salt. Spread a layer of boiled finely chopped eggs on top. We cut a few stalks of celery - this is our third layer. Bulgarian green pepper in thin strips is the fourth. We cut the onion into thin rings like on sandwiches, and put it on top of the green pepper. Next we have canned green peas. The main thing is that there should be as little liquid in it as possible. We cover all this with white salad dressing or mayonnaise. Cut the cheese into thin squares of about 2x2 cm. And on top of it, either very thinly sliced meat or bacon (which is much better). We decorate the salad with dill sprigs and go to treat the guests.
