Step-by-step cooking
My little niece is a terrible whim. If you can somehow cope with her on a walk or at home during games, then feeding a spoiled girl becomes just a huge problem. And there is nowhere to go, my sister periodically leaves the baby with me, because I still have to solve a difficult problem.
And then one day, after trying all possible options, I decided that since the Girl has a terrible sweet tooth, then the food should be simple, satisfying and sweet. Something that I liked myself when I was little. I began to sort through various culinary recipes in my mind and found a solution.
There is an absolutely children's dish in Lithuanian cuisine. Very often it is included in the permanent menu of the kindergarten. It's a sweet fruit soup. I myself ate it with pleasure, coming to visit my Baltic relatives. And it is prepared more than simply.
Soak dried fruits in warm water. It can be prunes, dried apricots, apples. I think you can not limit your imagination only to this list, but add any other fruits or berries that your child loves. After about fifteen minutes, we wash the fruit and put it in a saucepan with boiling water. You also need to add sugar to taste, but I still do not recommend making the soup very sweet.
Cooking dumplings. We make the dough, for it we will need about two eggs, half a cup of flour and a little water so that the dough is not very thick. We also put a little salt in it. With a teaspoon we take small pieces of dough and throw them into a saucepan with boiled fruit. Add a little cinnamon, just a little, on the tip of the knife. The dough is prepared quickly enough, so we cook for another 5-10 minutes and the soup is ready. We serve it chilled to room temperature and with sour cream. Very tasty and satisfying. Sweet fruit soup has become my niece's favorite food, and she is happy to visit me.
