Cooking method
Peel the pumpkin, cut into small pieces, pour water (or broth if desired), bring to a boil. If there are stalks from fresh herbs and spices, then you can blanch the pumpkin with them. When it is almost ready, pour the tomatoes into the pan. If you cook from fresh tomatoes, then remove the skin in any way convenient for you, cut into cubes, put in a saucepan with boiling pumpkin. Bring to a boil and cook together for 3 minutes.
Remove from heat, pull out the greens, chop with a blender. Prepare seafood during pumpkin cooking. I had frozen squid rings, peeled shrimp and mussels. I defrosted them in the microwave and then cooked them in it. Cut the squid into pieces. Mix together the chopped pumpkin with tomatoes and pieces of seafood, add citric acid, salt, pepper, finely chopped herbs, squeezed garlic. Bring to a boil.
Serve cold or hot with white yogurt or sour cream.
