Tiramisu Trifles

The perfect Italian dessert! Make it to delight your loved ones! Tiramisu trifles are easy to make if you already have all the components on hand — a baked sponge cake, prepared pudding, and whipped cream. Store-bought mixes and a sponge cake baked in advance make the job easier. The presentation is quite original and still somewhat unfamiliar, so the chances of surprising your guests and family are high.

  • A nearly classic tiramisu dessert served in a glass — delicious and out of the ordinary! Tender sponge cake soaked in coffee and rum, covered with a layer of mascarpone cream cheese and topped with whipped cream and cocoa... Divine! Perfect for holidays and for any weekday when you want to enjoy a special dessert. And this tiramisu trifle is quicker and easier to make than usual. First, in a suitably sized container, combine the vanilla pudding with a little coffee (1-2 tablespoons are enough). One important point — the coffee shouldn't be hot. Once the mixture is smooth, put it in the freezer for 10 minutes to thicken. Now take the sponge cake. You don't have to use angel food cake, but it comes out especially tender and tasty with it. Any sponge works for tiramisu-style trifles — just not chocolate, of course. Cut the sponge into large pieces. Blend the set pudding with the mascarpone using a mixer until smooth. Now you can start assembling the trifles. Lay a layer of sponge cake in the bottom of the dessert glasses, soak it with a little rum and coffee, and spoon the pudding-mascarpone mixture on top. Then add another layer of sponge, soak it, and add more of the pudding-mascarpone mixture. Garnish the top of the dessert with a spoonful of whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder. Instead of dessert glasses, you can use large goblets, cups, or jars, which can be decorated beautifully. In short, feel free to be creative. The main thing is that the dish be clear so all the layers of this delightful dessert show. You can use the rum or not — it's often replaced with another spirit or left out entirely. Another advantage of trifles is that you can soak some with alcohol and leave others without. The finished dessert should be served to guests right away! If you're serving later, put the trifles in the refrigerator and decorate them with whipped cream and cocoa just before serving.
