Cooking method
-
Step 1:
Boil the mussels, shrimp, and squid in salted water (I like to add some extra peppercorns and a bay leaf to the water). Cut the squid into cubes.
-
Step 2:
Finely chop the onion. You can sprinkle it with a little lemon juice.
-
Step 3:
Peel the pear and cut it into small cubes. Add the Dijon mustard, oil, and mayonnaise.
-
Step 4:
Toss everything together well and season with salt.
-
Step 5:
The salad is ready!
- This salad is delicious and a little out of the ordinary. The pear lends a pleasant sweetness and freshness. I use only Conference pears for it. If you prefer, you can swap the vegetable oil for olive oil. It comes together very fast—boiling the seafood takes the longest. This is my first post, so go easy on me!
